Stop Beating Yourself Up! Self-Love for Mommas

Love and Kindness Self-Talk for Mommas

Hey, beautiful mommas! In the whirlwind of motherhood, it’s essential to remember to extend love and kindness to ourselves. The way we talk to ourselves matters, so let’s fill our minds and hearts with positive self-talk that uplifts and empowers us. Here are some affirmations to nurture your inner being:

1. “I am Enough”: Repeat these words like a mantra. You are more than enough, just as you are. Embrace your strengths, acknowledge your efforts, and trust in your ability to navigate this journey of motherhood with love and grace.

2️. “I am a Loving and Nurturing Mother”: Remind yourself of the love you have for your children and the beautiful moments you create together. Trust in your intuition, knowing that your love and care make a significant impact on their lives.

3️. “I Embrace Imperfections”: Embrace the messy and imperfect moments. Remember that motherhood is a journey of growth, learning, and resilience. Give yourself grace when things don’t go as planned and find beauty in the imperfections.

4️. “I Prioritize Self-Care”: Self-care is not selfish; it’s essential for your well-being. Make time for activities that nourish your soul, whether it’s a quiet cup of tea, a walk in nature, or a few moments of meditation. Taking care of yourself allows you to show up as the best version of yourself for your loved ones.

5️. “I Celebrate Every Accomplishment”: Acknowledge and celebrate even the smallest victories. From managing hectic schedules to conquering new challenges, give yourself credit for all that you accomplish as a mom. You are doing an incredible job, and every effort counts.

Write these affirmations down and stick them to your mirror where you can read them and speak kindly to yourself each day.

Cassidy Dickson

I live in the amazing and breathtaking Salt Lake City, Utah, with my husband and two puppies that I’m slightly obsessed with! I have been involved in health and fitness my entire life and have achieved some pretty cool stuff throughout that process. I was a gymnast from the age of 5 until I was 16, then I turned into a major globo gym rat until I found CrossFit in 2012. I quickly fell in love with competing and qualified for CrossFit regionals six times, the CrossFit Games two times, and won a National Championship in Olympic Weightlifting during that time as well!

I haven’t always had the best relationship with food and working out, so when I finally sought out help and hired my own health coach in 2014, my life transformed, and I vowed that I would help as many people as possible avoid the same mistakes that I made throughout my journey.

As a coach and as someone that has personally experienced the modern-day diet culture, I don’t believe in a one size fits all approach for health coaching, which is why Life Elevated was born!
