Stop Living Off Stress Hormones

The body does not do well living under such extreme conditions. Energy is diverted from the less essential functions and shuttled to the essential processes like the heart, lunges, fuel for muscles, etc.

When we are in this constant state of stress we are preventing our bodies from taking care of business in the form of creating sex hormones, cleaning up old / damaged cells, breaking down and digesting food – REALLY IMPORTANT THINGS!

Some examples of what could be tipping you too far into a stress out state day after day:

  • Fasting too long

  • High intensity training

  • Too little caloric intake

  • Constant rushing around

  • Lack of quality sleep

  • Not enough water

  • Unhealthy relationships

  • Negative thinking

  • Toxins

  • Too much caffeine

The problem is, you CAN get away with these things for a while but after extended periods of time things will start to break down..

If we want to have that bangin’ bod, feel good all day, put on muscle, get off medications – we have to allow the body to get to a calm place more times than not. RECOVERY is the name of the game.
