10 Spotify Playlists to Help You Crush Your Workout

Picture this: you’re on a run and feel like you can’t make it one more step, let alone another mile. You’ve got your headphones in and all of a sudden THAT song comes on. The one that gives you chills. The one that makes you feel like you can do anything. Suddenly, your legs start moving faster and you push past the limits you thought you had.

THAT is the power of music.

Sometimes you need a great song to push through that last mile, last sprint or last rep. That’s why we have 10 Spotify playlist recommendations for you to try to crush your workout.

  1. Power Hour. Calling all EDM lovers. This playlist will help you push through a workout with uptempo beats that never stop hitting. Get music from your favorite DJs like David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Tiesto, and more!

  2. Hype. We will describe this playlist as aggressive trap music that you want to BUMP when you are lifting or grinding out a workout. This is the kind of music that you want to blast when you don’t want to think, you just want to do.

  3. Pumped Pop. If you aren’t into super hard hitting/intense songs and just want upbeat music to work out to that makes you happy, then pumped pop is for you. It’s even described as being for “the workout girlies”.

  4. Throwback Workout. If you peaked in the early 2000’s, then this playlist will bring you back to your prime. It’s giving Usher, early Kanye and Missy Elliott vibes.

  5. Workout Twerkout. You already know what I’m going to say. It’s nearly impossible to listen to this playlist without some booty poppin. Go head girl. All hail queen Megan thee Stallion.

  6. Pop Rock Run. Get ready for the teenage angst you felt when you screamed “Since U Been Gone” by Kelly Clarkson (yes that song does in fact make an appearance on this playlist). Featuring classics by artists like Avril Lavigne, and even some new hits from the next gen of artists like Tate McRae. You’ll be jamming with this one.

  7. Beast Mode Dance. If you want to get into beast mode without listening to screamo or rap, this dance playlist will get your foot tapping without you even realizing it. Similar to power hour, but a little harder hitting and techno with some Skrillex and Imanbek.

  8. Feelin’ Myself. If you want to feel like a powerful female: meet this playlist. Rappers like Cardi B, Nicki Minaj and Lotto are here to remind you that you are a baddie. You will strut into the weightroom with this playlist on.

  9. 100 Best Rock Workout Songs. This playlist is a great mix of different generations of rock. They have old school classic rock like Aerosmith and AC/DC, mixed with newer age bands like Foo Fighters and Blink-182. Regardless of the era of rock, you’ll be rocking out during your workout.

  10. Femme Fit Society. That’s right, we made our own playlist. All female artists who will make you feel like the total baddie that you are. Give it a heart on Spotify!

Happy listening!
