Do You Obsess Over the Scale?

“Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become.”

Being a health coach, I work with clients of all different goals, lifestyles, and motives.

Many come to me with the desire to lose weight; but other common goals are to have more energy, stop binging, feel confident approaching social situations, and be comfortable and confident in their skin.

The most successful clients have a few core concepts in common:

• communicate with me weekly

• non-negotiables that they do every day

• take it one step at a time

• keep a daily habit tracker

• keep a food log to bring food awareness

• be honest with yourself

• lean on the accountability, support, and guidance

My most successful clients have that AHA moment where they stop stressing over the scale and trust the process.

Many times we heal from the inside out first. Most of them will noticing…

• increased energy

• improved digestion

• reduced cravings

• increased strength

• clothes fitting better

• solid healthy habits

• a mindset shift

It is time to highlight the importance of a mindset and lifestyle shift. You can have a weight loss goal but when you finally stop obsessing over the scale and put energy into your daily actions, you have diet freedom and the journey becomes a lot more enjoyable.
